Mike Sweatt is a Senior Systems Engineer at Siemens Mobility in Pittsburgh, PA, with over 15 years of experience in transportation technology. His career spans locomotive control systems at GE Transportation, electric vehicle propulsion at General Motors, and railway back-office systems at Siemens Mobility. He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a B.S. from the University of Maryland, along with PMP and DFSS Blackbelt certifications. He built and piloted an AI-augmented requirements-to-design pipeline (Polarion → version-controlled artifacts → traced wireframes → working prototype), now being rolled out across teams through the engineering AI Workgroup.
